A 35 year old vulcanizer, Kingsley Edosa was yesterday arraigned before a Benin Magistrate Court for allegedly beating up a female tenant.

According to report, Edosa is currently facing trial for  the assault an Amaka Okafor who accused him of hitting her in the eyes 0n 11 July at their residence 15, Obaseki Street, New Benin  a house Edosa inherited from his late father.

The prosecutor, Assistant Superintendent Sylvester Omor, revealed to the court that Okafor sustained some injuries from the Brutalizing.
The accused who pleaded not guilty to the assault charge was granted bail in the sum of N50,000 and a surety in like sum, who must be gainfully employed. The bail was given by the magistrate, Mr. A. P. Saiki who adjourned the case till July 25, for hearing.
